ABOUT THE EVENT
Steelers in the Field is a food fundraiser supporting Team Buche Cares in their mission to address food insecurity among tribal and rural communities across South Dakota.
This exclusive, one-day guided pheasant hunt in Dallas, South Dakota, offers a rare opportunity to take part in a beloved South Dakota tradition—all while hunting alongside Pittsburgh Steelers football players! As our special guests, these football players will be joining hunters in the field, making this an unforgettable experience.
The event will kick-off with a social on the evening of Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at The Lodge at Bolton Ranch. The social will feature bites and beverages before the next day’s festivities with the pheasant hunt taking place in the early afternoon of Thursday, March 26, 2026. Following the hunt, there will be a brief program and auction.
All hunting passes include: transportation to fields, lodging locations, and entertainment, all meals throughout the two-day event, all beverages throughout the two-day event and ammunition for the pheasant hunt.
YOUR EVENT HOST
Team Buche Cares is the charitable arm of G.F. Buche Co. Team Buche Cares aims to provide healthy and nutritious meals to families in South Dakota, especially the children and elders in our rural and tribal communities. Team Buche Cares’ reach covers much of South Dakota and all nine tribal reservations throughout the state.
Our annual events like Steelers in the Field and The Rooster Roundup have provided critical funding for these communities and helped to provide holiday meals to families who might not otherwise have one. Since 2024, these events have allowed Team Buche Cares to serve nearly 500,000 meals throughout the state during the holidays and by providing access to Emergency SNAP Gift Cards to 2,900 households during the 2025 government shutdown.
Team Buche Cares understands their ability to make an impact on thousands of families and are motivated by the positive health outcomes this funding can provide to the communities where our team lives and works.
